Garmin offers a number of Handheld models suitable for a number of activities from Simple, lightweight navigators for rugged outdoor adventures to Tough handheld navigators that give you directions on roads or off. Also included in the Handheld range are two-way radios with GPS navigation and location reporting as well as GPS-enabled dog tracking systems designed for sporting dogs and their owners.
The Colorado series features the 300, 400c, 400i and 400t models. They are a High-sensitivity GPS receiver with color display, SD card slot, barometric altimeter, share data wirelessly with other Colorado users.
The eTrex series include eTrex H, HC, Venture HC, Legend, Legend HCx, Vista and Vista HCx. The basic model (H) features 500 waypoints, 64 x 128 pixel display, 17-hour battery life, high-sensitivity GPS receiver. The eTrex Summit HC is a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with 1,000 waypoints, 176 x 220 pixel display, 14-hour battery life, detailed basemap, 24 MB for optional maps, color screen, compass and altimeter.
The Rino series are the only FRS radios with GPS and location reporting including FRS/GMRS radio, position reporting (see location of other Rino users), location polling and VOX.
Also included is the Astro Dog Tracking Systems the first high sensitivity GPS-enabled dog tracking system for hunters and sportsmen. This unique system pinpoints your dog’s position and shows you exactly where he is, even when you can’t see or hear him.
